You gotta ask yourself, "What would it cost to replace something major?"
Engine, Tranny or Rearend would cost much more than $1700= Are you
willing to take a chance? My daughters tranny went out on her Acura and
she had the extended warranty....$1200 vs $3300 for the trans! Your
choice......Good Luck.

A decent deal would start under $1500 for at least 60 month/60k miles.
During that span you will need new pads, tires, fluid replacement, at least one tune up and possibly some defective part likely to be replaced.
Might be worth considering...I'm actually checking deals in the DC area, so far the cheapest is around 2k, little pricey for me...
Yea but is pads, tires and tune up covered with an extended warranty? I didnt think so?Originally Posted by stefanzo911

Depends: some warranties have "wear and tear" items, not including tires of course, best suggestion is to read a sample contract including the fine print and check the company at the BBB before buying.Originally Posted by Meth68

Not good advice. Extended warranties absolutely do not cover wear items or tune-upsOriginally Posted by stefanzo911
