Why Did YOU Buy a G and Not Something Else?
lol..you should move to Minnesota. You rarely see a g35 coupe here. Its pretty odd coz you see a ton of em in Chicago, which pretty much has the same weather as Minnesota. I bet when i get mine this week (fingers crossed..) I wont have the commonality issue

My biggest con on the G35c is that they are everywhere, and are as common as Civic, Accord, Camry and Ford Explorer.
If I’ll end up getting one (which I would want to), I will have to mod the exterior literally the same day I get it, I could not stand driving a car so common.
My current car a 2nd gen altima is rare by itself and a moded one, I think I only saw 3 others in the 7 years that I have been driving it.

I bought it because of its amazing stlye and its interior.
I had no aspects to look at while buying a car--it was a simply what car I liked best anywhere up to 42k
I liked the g35 look way above the rest and the interior was hands down better. ALl that was in question was the speed. TT takes care of that
Im N/A right now and I keep up with my friends modded evo9 so I think thwe speed is fine to begin with. Granted I have several mods as well

I've been through a slew of cars, and I decided on this one because it fits me the best at the current stage in my life. Something small that handles good with aggressive styling and decent power, but also has rear seats and comfort conveniences like sunroof, leather, heated seats, etc.

) there aren't very many, but in south Orange County, I can't take a drive anywhere without seeing one.Even when I lived in Ventura county, they are everywhere.

Why I purchased my G........
At the time I was driving a perfect '92 300ZXTT with the correct number of
mods to make it a kick in the a$$ to drive. I fully intended to buy a new
GTO but when I set in one at the LA Autoshow I wanted to puke.....fit and
finish were no where to be seen. Plus the design wasn't close to the '65
and '68 GTO's I'd owned in the past. After looking around I considered a Z
but no sunroof or backseat directed me to the G which I purchased without
ever driving one. Life is good with my G35!

hahaha, now that's how you should roll.
I bought one without ever even SITTING in a G Coupe. I'd driven my friends 350's, and heard "it's like a bigger, better, more comfortable.
So I drove to North Carolina and bought it.
I picked up my coupe because in my mind its the best combo of looks + performance + sound you can get for the money. I had a limit of 50k on a new car and I couldnt find anything I liked as much, some cars I liked the interior more, some were quicker but none in my mind had the total package for my taste. It's also the same reason why I opted to keep my g35 over a g37.
I had a C5 Corvette that turned into a mechanical nightmare. So I wanted a car that was fun to drive, preferably with a backseat for the munchkin, had a great warranty, and looked great. Not many choices out there and plus the wife loves the new G.
