I hit a pothole pretty hard with my front and back rear tires. After that my car feels like its been gliding. It doesnt feel stuck to the road like it used to. Anyone know what could be the problem? Maybe an alignment problem or something? Thanks.

i did that, took it to the dealership, turned out my steering rack (as in rack and pinion) was messed up. cost about $2000 to replace.

 

When I put on my coilovers I somehow managed to throw the toe way off and I had the same gliding feeling until I got my alignment done. So, yeah it could be alignment-

 

Could be a warped wheel or 2. I had my wheels balanced when I got new tires, and they did a crappy job of the balancing, and for some reason my car had an unstable feel to it until they fixed the balancing... mainly on the highway where the vibration happened most severely.

 

could the steering rack be replaced under warranty? If not then i will try to get the tires balanced. My car also vibrates in the floor arear under the pedals at highway speeds.
