Stillen Exhaust
Stillen Exhaust
I am kinda new to this stuff. I am thinking of adding Stillen dual exhaust paired with Injen CAI. Will this make a good improvement in HP? I have seen some posts indicating power loss at lower rpm. Any thoughts or suggestions appreciated.
Re: Stillen Exhaust
I have the Stillen Exhaust with a Stillen Air Box. RugRatCoupe has the Stillen with the Injen CAI. You can go to this link on G35Frenzy.com and here a sound clip of both cars. This is before we added the RT Cats which IMO made the car a little too loud. No big deal if you have to sign up on Frenzy, they want be sending you any junk mail or anything. I am an Advisor on that board. Scroll down about half way and you will see the link.

Re: Stillen Exhaust
Not sure about the coupe Stillen, but my sedan Stillen drones like crazy when the engine is accelarating under load and RPMs are under 4500. During idle, and revving in neutral sound great, nice and deep. Fun for an aggressive fun drive, but very tiring on a long drive. My wife simply hates to ride in my car now. I have the K&N drop-in and 350z intake tube.
Hoping that 50 sq/ft of dynomat throughout the car and 3/4" padding with a thin layer of lead (between the padding) in the trunk will reduce the droning.
