hey i was thinking about buying an 03 gcoupe. my question is are there any big differences between the 03 and the 04-07? also what kind of problems are the 03-04 coupes known to have?

The 03-04 coupes are different from the 05-07 coupes. 05-07 have revup engines if you opt for the manual tranny, better interior (nicer metals and details) the 06-07s have different front ends I believe (I'm positive they do with the sports bumper) and Navi is obviously better in the later models. I cant think of anything else off the top of my head thats major but search around a bit I'm sure you will find more. Oh yes and problems, tire feathering mostly on the 03-05s but can be a problem with 06-07, oil consumption for the rev up engines, tranny problems with synchos and what not, rear axle bolts loosening up therefore causing some pretty bad noises, rattles, etc.

Dont let the list of problems scare you that much tho. I just bought an 05 and I love it! Like I said search button can be your best friend just look around.

 

if you can look for an 04 or 05.

03-04 (6MT) have brembo brakes good but alot of brake dust
06-07 bluetooth sucks
tire feathering is all years
06-07 have new taillights and headlights

i say get 05 its perfect
