how to remove rear bumper? g35 coupe
I wish I woulda seen this 2 days ago..... I just swaped rear bumpers in my garage... I usually do a DIY w/ my camera close by but I was doing painting and other stuff as well and totally spaced it! Dang!!
It is not that tough actually... kinda time consuming taking apart my trunk interior but it should not take more than 20-30 mins your first time. If I got nothn goin on in the next week I'll try to get one up.
Simple DIY:
Open trunk, take out pop pins of the interior to expose lights and sides.
Take out rear lights, take 10mm bolts out alongs sides (2) on each side (one along bottom, one along rear edge), take out 10mm under each rear wheelwell, remove plastic pins from underneath, take out plastic push pins from top, slide back CAREFULLY and remove...
ALWAYS protect any adjoining body panels with painters tape to avoid scratching.
