Can you grease the sunroof cover?

My cover for the sunroof seems to be sticking, it seems harder to pull it open, I was wondering if you could do something about it? Thanks

You may want to make sure the bearings on the cover isn't off. If you have warranty, have the techs take a look and grease it.

This should be done yearly...if not sooner!

At least once a year I take a small rag and WD40, clean the channels the
roof and cover slide in. That way they always work and you've eliminated
squeaks, rattles and issues associated with either.
