got my 05 6MT new, and have no regrets and no issues so far. it has only been a money pit in that it is a very tempting car to mod. 19" tires are rather expensive though

i purchased my new 07' back in april.. no regrets whatsoever.. loved it from day 1!! it was pretty much my "dream car" haha.. and i got it!!.. i've read and read about all the complaints and issues about the G b4 i bought... but that still didn't stop me from getting it.. sure i get rattles and pops hear and there, but all in all it is really a great car.. i mean it's not the fastest car on the road, but it has great looks and decent performance.. best bang for the buck..

i used to drive a 02' lexus es300.. that car runs great but there are some weird tranny issues with it (dealer says nothing is wrong).. and some annoying rattles.. engine is getting kinda noisy too..

like others have been saying.. all cars have problems.. even the new 335i TT had overheating issues..

-no car is perfect ... GOOD LUCK BRO!.. GET IT! =)

I have an '03 6mt,- in 4 months it will be 5 years old and all paid off. At 52K so far, all I've spent in almost 5 years has been for a set of snow tires on rims, 2 sets of brake pads and 1 set of rotors (the brembos are a little costly, but worth every penny), and just this last April a new set of summer tires, all from the Tire Rack. Everything still works great and the car is still a blast to drive every day. Had more trouble with my 528i that preceded it. Of course, if you buy a used one it's hard to know how much the prior owner beat it up, but the car itself has served most of us quite well and looked great doing it.
