Personally, I think that "don't go over 4000RPM" thing is crap. Anyone that visits any of the high performance web sites knows this to be a fact. Break in is very technical and very specific. Besides, I picked my car up with 110 miles on it. I'm quite certain that there were a few clowns that test drove it and brought it over 4000 a few times. Especially the damn dealers, they're the worse.

 

I think it is more funny to fool a person into thinking you want to run it.
I like it when someone gets next to me at a stop light and they rev it up, I lurch my car like I'm going to give them a go and as the light turns I just punch it hard for like 10 feet and then cruise normal, laughing my a$$ off as I watch them beat the hell out of their car wondering how long it will take them to realize I just "had" them.
