Steering Wheel Shakes, HELP!!
I have a 2004 G35 Coupe, i was driving home from getting some mickie d's about 2 weeks ago and on the way home my steering would act up when i pressed brakes so i figured my tire was a little bit low, turns out it was almost fully deflated, so i filled it back up with air, every since then my car has had an alignment problem and the steering wheel starts to vibrate and shake from about 65mph up, anything under that i cant feel any wheel shake but i still have alignment problems.. anyone know what could be the problem im gonna have my car aligned tomorrow but is there anything else that could be a problem? i am getting new wheels/tires this weekend so hopefully that and the alignment will take care of it, the tires are almost brand new, about 85-90% tread life.. please help, thanks in advance guys

i had the same problem...apparently what happens when your tire is really low and you drive on it maybe even a few miles, the rim begins to turn on the inside of the tire, eating away at the sidewall. When you refill the tire with air, sometimes little air pockets form where the tire meets the rim. everytime your wheel rotates you feel the air pocket slightly, but it isn't signifacant enough to shake the steering wheel until higher speeds such as 65mph in your case. I dont know if their is any solution other than buying a new tire. my case was so bad that the shop told me i had to. i have 20inch wheels though. i dont know whta your setup is

Steering wheels issues....!
From what you described when the tire in question went down you probably
threw off some of the wheel weights. Since you're getting new wheels and
tires just have your alignment checked.....you're home free (well almost)!
With the new tires/rims you shouldn't have any high/low speed vibration.
If, when you press the brake pedal you have steering wheels shake it's
due to the disc's being warped......hopefully this won't occur.
