WTH, squeaking noise driving me insane!!!
OK down here in south florida it has been raining hard and large places with deep water develop, so my car has gotten nasty wet (under) due to all of this, now when i brake or let go of the brake to accelerate the car sounds like an old rocking chair needing wd40, squeaking like a mf...the rear differential sounds like it needs grease or something, is this something simple the dealership can correct or are they most likely gonna tell me i need a complete restoration?? damn its crazy, sounds like a 1980 car, i mean its bad enough the seats squeak when i sit on them, now this!!!
honestly i dont know
does it squeaking constantly throughout ur driving or is it only when you back the car out of the driveway for the first time in the morning
mine squeak if i leave the car sitting for over 4 hours probably because of rust.

I had a similar situation with the sound you are describing, especially after a downpour. I switched to ceramics and no more brake noise of any kind. I'm not sure that is your problem, but I just wanted to give some info.

It may be rear suspension components. I am having the same problem, and I have narrowed the noise down to the right rear of my car. My car squeaks and creaks like a lifted truck. I think it may be the bushings, so I am in the process of replacing them. If that does not work, I will just start replacing parts one by one untill I have a completley new rear end. LOL!!!! The sound is driving me crazy!!!!!!

2003 no brembos i have hawk pads on, and i mean the noise i guess is from the brakes having gotten wet, since they only make the noise when i am at a stoplight with the brakes pressed or when i am depressing them a little,
is the sqeaking coming from the front or the back? Have you checked your rotors and pads? You might be getting low on pads and might be warpng your rotors. If that's not the case, you might just need some grease on the pads and shims.
I recently changed my pads and I had no squeaks until it started raining. If it doesn't rain for a while and I don't wash the car, it won't make the noise but the minute I wash the car or it rains it will start squeaking. I'm taking out the pads tomorrow to clean out the shims and pads and re-apply the grease.

no its not because my pads are worn out they are pretty much brand new, i have hawk pads and only ran them for about 4K miles, im gonna check to see if the rotors are getting warped, if thats the problem it will give me an excuse to change to cross driller rotors
, i dont want to get under the car with a can of WD40, im too chicken sh** to get under half a ton car with just rhino ramps holding the car LOL, but im gonna take it to my mechanic see if he'll get a can of grease and lubricate away, cause man it seriously sounds like a 90 kia >
