no. Probably close to 2years. depends on your driving style and how many miles you put on a year.

Just go and test drive the G35 and make sure to get 6MT

SAVE... this car is gonna give you the mod bug. 04-03 gets you the brembros and a cassette player 05+ gets you the rev-up (6mt= 298hp)engine and newer re-defined interior with the optional 19'' forged rays wheels. 06-07 gets you the projector headlights and "bubly" tail lights and what the 05 has. 05-07 have no cassette players... sorry

GL with your decision

You could add anything you want aftermarker-wise. But it all cost a lot. Hence, the save part.

My tips on buying a G35.........!

First of all find a clean low mileage car and do a background check on the
vin number. You don't want a car that's been crashed! I'd go with an '04/'05
they seem to have less issues, like oil consumption on the '06/'07. Make sure
you drive the car and check out things like clutch, ask the seller what kind
of oil they've been using (it alway helps to know) GOOD LUCK!

And what makes the big difference in power between 04s-05s?

Rear axle creek, clicking when moving from dead stop Forward or reverse from rear susp. Power difference is 18HP. Clutch is a big thing to check, make sur eit doesnt release to high or slip etc.

There is a big difference in HP from 03 to 08 but not much improvement in performance. No real issues unless you get a non-Brembo 03-04. The brakes were recalled and replaced or warranty extended if I remember right.
