My wifes freezes all the time now that it is cold in the mornings (15-25deg F). Since it only happens when its cold out, do you think its "broken", or just a ****ty design? Shes late to work every few days now because of that stupid thing.

If I go to the dealer, it will be warmer out, and I'm sure it wont happen in front of them. If it actually DID get stuck, are the replacement parts even any better?

 

Where is this manual release in the trunk? I didn't see it in the manual.

 

there is no manual release. nice... but again, you can snake your hand in there and pull the tab back to release. I left the trunk liner loose until I got the dealer to replace. It was was warmer and working that day, but the dealer didnt question it, obviously it was sticking or I wouldnt have been pulling on with my hand.
