how come i dont have memory seat? i have the premium package and i thought memory seat is included.. or it is part of other package?

 

Coupes do not come with memory seats due to the fact that you have to move the seat-back everytime someone goes to the back seat. I know it would be great to have that setting but it just seems uneccessary in the coupe.

my CLS had memory seat and it has the same auto slide front seats too. i think it s necessary if other people in your family drive your car alot. because i hate to reset all my seat & mirror settings after somoeone drives my car. somehow the car just doenst feel right.

 

Why do you let people drive your car? My wife knows when she drives it not to move the seat...

I feel your pain, also coming from the CLS, I loved the memory seat option. Now I spend 2 days trying to find the setting I had the seat at before my wife drove it. Guess I'll have to cut off the her driving priviledges.
Of course the CLS was a good car, but not by a long shot will it ever compare to my G, memory seats or not. Zero regrets!

 

Unnecessary? That is exactly why the G35c should have memory seats, so everything goes back exactly like it was automatically. Nissan should at least offer full power seats with memory as an option. I would pay extra for them.

Thats probably my biggest complaint. Has all these other luxury amenities but seems to forget something so simple.

The sedan's premium package has memory. You may have saw it there. I wish the coupe had memory also. I have to have kids in my backseat.

 

Yeah, but it wouldn't control the seat back position, nor the steering column. Once/if these items become power as well, you ought to see the memory feature.

 

ok.....heres a scenerio

I like my seats way back. I like to drive without having to bend my knees. It just feels better and I have more control. If I had someone in the back seat and accidentally hit the memory seat button or if the car auto returned to that position with someboy behind me it would be a serious problem.

The location of the memory seat buttons (on the sedan) would keep that from happening. There's also a switch to deactivate tha uto-return feature. Last, the seats will only auto-return if the car is in N or P. Hopefully you won't crush anyone [img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img]
