I am about to order a coupe, but can't decide between decide between Diamond Graphite (slightly in favor of this, but not 100% sure) or Desert Platinum. What's everyone's opinion?

I don't think you can go wrong with either color. I have DG, but I also think DP looks good. As a matter of fact, I saw a DP Coupe with a wing at work today and it caught my attention. Just make sure you look at both colors close up and maybe that will help you. These paint jobs don't show up as well in pictures.

DP all the way. Too many people have the DG. DP looks more classy to me. DG just looks "gray". That's my 2cents.

Also, the DP changes color slightly depending on the light and angle.

When I bought mine way back in 03/03, I wanted DG deperately. However the dealer had a Silver in the showroom w/ the options I wanted, so I took it (I thought to myself, G35C NOW, or G35C in 6 months?? - I decided now). A few months later a co-worker got the diamond graphite. Looks reeeal sharp. I still love my silver but DG is still my favorite color.

I was at SAMs the other day getting gas and a guy walked up to me and said, "What color is that?" I told him it depends on what light you see it in. In the shade, you'll see silver with just a hint of a gold hue, in the bright sunlight, there's no doubt it's silver.

We talked about the car for a couple of minutes then he had to go. Just before he left, he said, You know, I came over here just to look at that color. Of course it's a beautiful car, but that paint just blew me away."

I thought.......YEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSS. Validation. You'll never be disappointed with DP....IMHO.

Both colors are awesome, but DP looks like a futuristic aluminum monochrome body, It just looks super high tech as compare to DG, IMO. Infiniti, please discontinue the DP, I want to be the few that has this amazing color out there on the road.

The DP is nice, but not for the coupe.... maybe for the sedan IMO....

i orig fell in love with the DG. However, after it was ordered, i saw a DP and bounced back and forth. stuck with the DG.

DP is good because it changes colors due to the light.
