The dealer only enters work that they do in the computer, so keep your receipts to show what was done. And your warranty can not be voided if you have the work done elsewhere or if you do it yourself.

It's called prestige pricing. That's actually a real term. I've never taken any car I own to a dealership for "recommended" scheduled service. It's a waste of money and time. I've never had any issues with warranty.

If you just have to get it done for your own peace of mind then take your G to a Nissan dealer for a fraction of the price. I'm sure you can haggle a little bit on the price as well.

Buy all the parts from me... do it your self... simple...

Every dealer has their own service "Menu"

What we do at a 30K is:

Oil & Filter Change
Intake Air Filter Change
In-Cabin Air Filter Change
Transmission Fluid Change (drain & Fill only)

Some dealers will want to also do Coolant, We do it every 60K here...

PM me for 30K service kits!
Belts etc and more!

everything in life has a price. I do oppose to those who complain about $$$ issues. If you Love your $$$ so much, then YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE BOUGHT AN INFINITI in the first place. No disrespect, but just ike what "BASSHOLIC" said: "FORK OVER THE FUNDS".
Want to be cheap with your $$$, sale or trade your car for an economical one. Of course, everyone knows that "trying to look sexy, is easy. But staying beautiful ain't". You feel me.

if the car was a S class or a Porsche then I would fork over the funds. I'm sorry but a G35 is not even close to a type of car to fork over $900 for simple maintenance. It's a freaking Nissan 350Z...some people on here are acting like it's a Ferrari. Sorry guys but this is just how I feel.

I agree! The arrogance of some G drivers is down right comical. I have a coupe and a sedan becuase they are affordable cars with a luxury appeal.

exactly. it isn't even high-end car. But come on, any amount of money that anyone picks out of their own pocket is life. Things cost money. Nothing is free. I am just saying that $900 doesn't seem odd.

$900 doesn't seem odd???

Jason@riverside actually works for an Infiniti dealership and listed these things for the 30k service:

Oil & Filter Change
Intake Air Filter Change
In-Cabin Air Filter Change
Transmission Fluid Change (drain & Fill only)

Hell, I could do the first 2 by myself and could probably figure out how to do the others. Would you really pay $900 for that?

^ Its great how all the new people are the ones talkign about how the car isn't a high class lux. Do you not think the people who knew about the car back in 03 never knew this?

Then agian i guess this topic section is mainly for the nooB's to begin with.

FYI fully synthetic is not worth it...i think

What are you talking about? Who said anything about whether this car is or isn't a high class lux?

All I'm saying is that $900 is outrageous for a tune up. You're not being classy if you decide to pay that much, you're just being an idiot.

New to the forum not to the car. I guess post count is equated with knowledge somehow.
