30k service $900 @ dealer???
Okay, I'm pretty good about getting my car's regular services done @ the dealership just because its nice to have them stamp the book basically. But I'm coming up on 60k and looking over the price sheet they have the 30k mile service is $900?????????
Anyone actually do this??

Same price at the stealerships here in Massachusetts. I've done the service but not through the dealership. I've had my rear diff fluid and tranny flushed and changed with synthetic at Valvoline for 120.00, a wheel alignment and tie rods done for 100.00 at Tru Wheels, and a whole lot more that didnt even cost me anywhere near what the dealer is charging.

you should've brought your G35 to a Lamborghni dealer for your 30K service when they are doing it for your pimp lambo..
they'd prolly charge you $9000 rather than $900.. but who cares.. that'd only be the cost of a cheaper model 100" HDTV 1080 tv.

People who think it's ok to pay more because it's an Infiniti obviously have nothing better to do with their money. Must be nice!
Do as many things yourself that you are comfortable with. Find a good independent mechanic to take care of the rest.
Changing out fluids every 2 years/24K is good enough. Just turkey-baster the PS steering fluid out of the reservoir and add fresh fluid. Flushing out the system buys you little for what you pay for it. It's a great money maker!
Cooling, trans fluid and brake fluid are critical. Although jury is still out whether a trans flush is really needed. Maybe at 60K+ .. but regular changes s/b enough, same for the differential.
Do that along with regular oil and filter changes should do it.
Check wheel alignment every 6-12K. Rebalance if tires look like they need it or you can feel vibration. Check brake pads every few months. Change out air filter as recommended for the type you have, and replace the cabin filter every couple of years.
Wiper blades when they don't wipe well, tire pressures every few weeks, etc.
To pay $700-900 ONE service along with the free donuts and coffee, is highway robbery IMO!
Save your receipts for all parts and work performed!!!

Hot damn, $900 is too much. Hell, $630 is too much. I agree with fortified, do as much by yourself as you feel comfortable. +1000000. Some things are so easy and quick to do it's literally throwing money away to have the stealership do it. If you really are going to throw money away, PM me and send it my way! That's so much. I Just called to schedule an appointment for 29K tune up. They quoted me about $612.00 at Metro Infiniti. I think I'd rather take it to a trust worthy Mechanic. $612.00 is so much. The oil change normally is expensive, $40 dollars. I'd pay $40.00 for a peace of mind. But not $612.00.

There is no need to pay more money that you have to for service, regardless of how much you spend on the car. That is just throwing money away.
Look here for the maintenance recommendations. Pick the service mileage and it will show you the difference between premium, schedule 1 and schedule 2. http://x.infinitihelp.com/maintenance/
Premium
Every 3,750 miles or 3 months, whichever comes first. This is a Infiniti-recommended option that was
developed for owners who want the ultimate in preventative maintenance. With this schedule, more
maintenance items are regularly checked or replaced than with the other schedules. Premium Maintenance
provides the peace of mind that comes from knowing that your Infiniti has been maintained at the highest
level.
Schedule 1
Every 3,750 miles or 3 months, whichever comes first. This schedule offers the same service intervals as
Premium Maintenance; however, with this schedule fewer maintenance items are regularly checked or
replaced.
Schedule 2
Every 7,500 miles or 6 months, whichever comes first. This schedule offers the least frequent service
intervals, with even fewer maintenance items regularly checked or replaced.

Whats $900 dollars when you've already spent 40K???? Are you high? The guy might as well burn the effin cash. God, honestly it'll take you one effen afternoon. It's not freaken rocket science people. You can do most of the work yourself and pay a good shop/mechanic to handle the rest and save yourself cash. It's not about being a Jew! It's about not being a JackA$$! But you know? Do whatever floats your boat...but I believe that more than 60 percent of us here would agree that to pay that much is retarded.
Thank you,
