Salvage G35 Price

A local guy is selling a theft recovery vehicle with a salvage title local. I think the price is way too high seeing as how there is no warranty going to come with the vehicle. Whats your opinion?

That guy is smoking crack. You can go to the dealer and get one with a clean title for that price and still have money left ver for mods. Plus you never know what is wrong with something salvage (ie., electrical, mechanical) I wouldn't even bother. Just go to the dealer and buy one that comes with a warranty and be problem/trouble free.

Also not to mention the add says minor scratches and dents. If that were the cae than why does the car have a salvage title ?

I bought mine for only 8K. The front end was replaced(bumper cover, hood, headlamps, and fender). It was a salvaged car but you cant tell that now. I think the guy above is not being honest.

I almost sold my old rims and tires on Craigslist. BEWARE OF FRUAD! A buyer sent me a check that included the amount for shipping. I called the bank listed on the check and they said that the account # on the check does not exist. Just think I would have been 2K down and no rims to show for it! IMHO don't buy anything from craigslist unless you can talk to the seller in person or on the phone.

I just got an 06 6mt coupe with 12k miles on it for $27900 with clean title. $28k seems high for a salvage.

Salvage tile car is usually sold for 40 - 50% below market value. Tell him to lower the price to around $14,000 - $17,000 and then you can start talking...

I actually did end up emailing him offering him a lower price...this was his response.

Even without the warranty the car i sowrth way more than that. An 03 or 04 still sell in the 23K to 24K range without a warranty. Either way thanks for the offer and good luck on your search.

Unless you are looking for a certain color, this car sounds like a much better deal to me and only 5 miles further... 2004 Infiniti G35 Coupe $22,900

I was hoping for a white one with black interior but I can see that they are extremely rare, and the one guy selling one on this site is asking way too much.
