if you buy it, you better plan to keep it. you will find it very hard to resell it.

I thought theft recovery or flood would be ideal for a salvaged car? No major frame damages... But if it was damaged in a major accident, then the frame might have been damaged, and although it can be repaired, the car will never perform the same again.

the "black book" on a clear title 04 6mt is right around 15K(13.5-16) but thats black book, for a privat sale no more than $16,000 even with the mods ~ mods dont make money!!!!!!!!

Yeah auction prices... I'm surprised it's that low. As recently as May (sometime April-July, not sure exactly) '04 6MT coupes were listed in black books at 19K+

*Edit* - black book is what used car dealers use to value cars, especially those they purchase through auctions

15k sounds right, but thats if you can find a buyer. High school kids buy salvaged cars because they think the world is very nice and honest 100% of the time!

Well that push the price up quite a bit... I have no idea though but the warranty alone is worth around $2,000 - $2,500...

1 - Theft recovery - You will never know what the theft do to the car...
2 - Flooded car - Potential rusty chassis...
3 - Frame damage is easier to fix if it was on the front or the back, the car could handle the same if it is well fixed. The side (From A to C Pillar) is the hardest to fix and even when it fixed, you have no guarantee the car will perform the same.
