There's something wrong with yours. My rear defroster cleans the window literally within a 2 - 3 minutes.

Do you clean the snow off rear window first? I hope you're not one of those people who thinks a defroster is actually a snow melter. Ice is another story. I'm talking about the people who drive around with like 5" on snow all over the car and just a little spot cleared away for them to see straight ahead.
