Those w/ 70k miles plus come on in! and weigh in!

Whats up all...

Proud owner of an 03 6 speed just cracked 70k miles...just wanted to hear from those who have been there....did you start doing anything special when you passed this not so great mile stone? I am no stranger to cars w. miles and am by no mean scared of a big number on the tach (had an 86 CRX with 300k plus a 92 legend with 150+ and a 93 integra with a buck 40 on the odo.) Since all my previous high mile cars were hondas (or acuras but same car diff letter) anything special you guys did to your nissan when it cracked the 70k barrier? Is the "max life oil" worth the coin? I am good on service and plan to replace the stock suspension w/ new shocks (oem equivalent) and some lowering springs....anything else i should be looking to do? 60 k service was done....sorry if its a repost, just lookin for info...how do i keep her riding smooth and creek and squeak free?!? thanks.

side note...has anyone used the bilstein replacement shocks? or something like them...what are they like. thanks

i just pass 95K as well. I don't plan on replacing anything until it's broken. I'm lowered and the shocks seem to be holding up well. My passenger window motor recently crapped out so i bought a new one for $185 and replaced it myself. Still doing the usual mobile 1 syn every 3K miles. i don't plan on treating it any differently than it was the day i bought it at 43K miles

I just pased 107,000 mikes. The only thing i would do is take it to the infiniti dealership and have them flush out your transmission fluid, differential fluid, possible bleed the break lines.

Other than that i haven't done anything special. I still use mobil 1 0w-40 still on original coolant (minus what i have added). Really haven't had any problems.

83K miles and still running strong!! I bought her brand new in Nov 03 (she is a 04 model) so she is now 4 years old... I put the Vortech on at 43K and have had zero issues with her.

I use Royal Purple oil only every 3500 miles.

LOL, here is my original post back in Nov 03 : https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-coupe-v35-2003-07/12968-just-got-my-coupe-thurs.html

Pics of her now:
