are you sure you just want to reset it without finding out exactly what it is?

That happened to me a month ago and took it to the dealership- they said the driver's airbag module in the seat had to be replaced? and it was covered under warranty.

I know theres some thread that tells you how to reset it (something with the ignition) but I'd just take it to the dealer.

disco the battery negative................but if its a hard fault it will come right back no matter how many times u reset it........ id go get it checked out before u get in an accident and find out your drivers side air bag is inop........ or any of them for that matter... or it could just be a crash sensor anything....who knows...

Same problem here. You should take it to the dealership and get the problem fixed under warranty. It would probably be a good idea, you never know when an accident could happen. It would suck if your airbag didn't work.

Thanks for the advice guys. I guess I'll try to disconnect the battery and see if that resets it. This happened about a month ago, and all they did was reset something.

Thanks again!

I disconnected the negative terminal on the battery and waited a few minutes before reconnecting. Good news: the engine service light turned off.....Bad news: the airbag light is still flashing. I really hate dealing with the morons at the dealership, but guess I'll have to take it in now and have them look at it.

By the way, does anyone know if Nissan honors our warranty and will service our cars?

Thanks.
