Anyone have a photo of the side view of the Nismo Exhaust on a G35 Coupe. I'm concerned about the G being 8" longer than the Z, and the extension tube is only 6" for this exhaust. I've been board hopping looking to see where the exhaust tips end relative to the back bumper but have had no luck finding a picture. For the record, I did try the search function, but had no luck.

I will try to post a pic of my car and exhaust as soon as i can. i just installed the nismo exhaust purchased from performance nissan in duarte. it was original meant for the 350z so they also sell an attachment to go with the system.
the tips do not reach the cut-outs on the bumper, they are about .5 inch too short. from behind it is not possible to tell but if you stand looking down on the tips you will be able to tell. i personally like the way it looks a little tucked in to the bumper. i will post pics later tonight.

i wanted the nismo too but just matter of time when i decide which route to go. Not sure if i want to go NA or FI. Waiting for the greddy to come out.

do you find more exhaust soot adhering to your bumper because of the placement? i was going to get the injen ses but its too loud for my taste. i'm probably going the fujitsubo or nismo direction.

don't mean to hijack the thread, but how do you like the exhaust? worth the $?

 

yes the exhaust sounds very good in my opinion. it still sounds like the original tone of the car but louder. i think its worth the money considering its around 850 including the Y-pipe and the quality is great....just a heads up im not certain if the exhaust is too loud for the average person. im used to driving my old Saleen with borla exhaust and a bassani off-road x pipe. so the G seems quite quiet.

there was a thread that contain some dyno of the borla,nismo etc. according to the dyno, nismo show small gain in all the rpm range. where as other, there are more gain at high rpm. do you feel that the hp gain in all rpm?

all the exhaust will give 7hp at most. I think Sound and Look is most important to people when it comes to selecting
exhaust. If u r not going for JDM nismo, I would say go for the fujitsubo exhaust. I've seen some people who used nismo with extention pipe was not satisfied with the short length.
