Clear bra is the way to go. (3M). I had my bumper painted 2 times before I relented to the purchase. Glad I did.

 

Hi as you can see by my post count, I'm a newbie here. I had the same issue on my 04 coupe and it bugged the hell out of me every time I washed or waxed it. I posted some pics in the new member area but let me share a pic of my repainted front bumper. I had it done 2 weeks ago at a local body shop for 2 and change. I'm so happy with the result that I don't even want to venture out to the highway. You feel like you got your baby back when its done. It's a good solution to a problem that plagues us all.
