Is this a good price for a new 04 coupe?

I'm looking to buy a 04 coupe. I'm basically want the base coupe with leather. MSRP is $32,140 on Infiniti.com and $31,550 on Edmunds.com. The dealer that I went to offered one to me for $33,500 out the door (so Tax, Tag,and Title are already included in that price).

So what do you guys think. Good deal, or should I hold out for more?

gthirtyfive, I got a good tip from MOE on the forum to check out Quirk Infinity in Mass. They seem to have good prices and will deliver anywhere. I'm not sure how much of your "out the door" is tax-tag-license but I would expect you could get around $2000 off of MSRP this late in the model year.

Thanks. In Florida where I live tax is 7%, so the tax on $32,140 is around $2249

$1000 off of MSRP is pretty good here in FL. The best I could get on a base coupe was $800 off. This was with no dealer fee. Watch out or they will add stuff back in to make up for the discount. The dealer prep fee is a rip.
