LOL, he was a good sport! The first time, he swears that he would’ve taken me at the high end (but I wasn’t flooring it), the second time he had a bad shift. I’m sure sometime we’re going to have to take it to a track, but since I’m undefeated, I’m in no hurry!

I took out an S2000 twice off the line (I posted it a while back) Since then I have had 2 S2K's try to race me, but I have nothing left to prove, so I let them go on.

That's right, enjoy the limelight for now. Keep us posted on the track race. Caution, he may be sneaky and try to add some mods without you knowing it. I would if my wife beat me! lmao

Personally, I agree with you. The S2000 is a sweet car and if I was interested in a two-seater, that would be very high on my list. They did a great job on that car. I would certainly take it over the RX-8. The G has four seats and is a little sexier looking.

Since our races he’s swapped the exhaust and added a CAI, (plus he’s foaming at the bit to get a supercharger) so that’s another reason I’m in no hurry to race again!

Re: S2000 owners (this is a rant, be warned)

I really love our G-coupe and it is a very very fast car. I recently picked up a pre-owned 2002 S2K as a weekend sportster. Now, since currently I own both cars, I do have to say the S2K is a different beast. It is very strange but when I'm driving the S2K, the car just tends to want to speed because you just want to hear that V-tech kick in and believe me it is an "awesome" feeling. The G-coupe is a better value though because you get a more round package with a balance of luxury, performance and prestige. The S2K is just pure performance.

Peace and do enjoy your G-coupe because its totally awesome.

The S2k to me looks like a door wedge and the interior is too damn small...its an ok car ..But i am sorry to say that if you think the G35 is really really fast the brother you havent driven a real car....yes the G is fast but in my messin around hear and there with cars on the street i was bitterly dissapointed when the G struggled to pull away from cars that should be no match!!! I am embarresed to even mention what kind of cars they were....I love the G but when 2006 model year comes around im gettin A bmw M4 (the new m3)

The M3 is changing to M4 in 06? Whoa. Don't know what kind of pocketbook you have but I'm going to assume the M4 is going to be $55k+ when it's all said and done.

Totally different cars. My experience with them has been great. THX723 and I went to Laguna Seca where a big group of S2000 were running (we were the interlopers). Great guys and gals, cool cars, lots of fun. They have a super gearbox and one of the smoothest shifting trannys in the business. They wind up pretty darn high, and relative to my G they were hopelessly outpowered, so there was no competition in my little newbie group. I would love to have one in my garage, along with about 20 other wish for vehicles. But they are very small. The G is not big, and it dwarfs them.

Re: S2000 owners (this is a rant, be warned)

There is always this kind of feeling when a souped up car stopped at the light right next to you. I rarely look at em because if i did i know their gonna go for it and i would as well. So ill just pretend cool and not putting too much gas off the line to avoid any worthless racing. I have not yet had a chance to be side by side with a s2000 because i know whats gonna happened next... But if they wanna play we G35s ain't gonna chicken out...
