Re: newbie question regarding "chirping" tires

Im gonna go ahead and guess that what your talking about is nothing more than what should happen if you chirp second. Launch to hard and ride 1st and 2nd spinning, if you feel the car shake side to side, that should be the same feeling you get slamming second very hard. That kinda "shaking" is your car wanting to not hold the road, but take it in just to make sure, ya never know.

Re: newbie question regarding "chirping" tires

If you're looking for "sum answers", try taking the time to type like everyone else! We didn't join this forum to try and read post that sound like its coming from a 4th grader. . .

Second, your post, although it may merit some time to answer, its plainly foreseen as being someone who has ZERO experience driving trying to do something that anyone and there mother can do (often not of purpose).

If you try and chirp your tires with the VDC on, it will see it as a "slip" and it will stop it. Plain and simple. Your car may jerk a bit or it may not. Shut the VDC off and you'll be able to chirp. If you still can't and the car just seems to jerk, then rev higher, its not rocket science.

Lastly, if its doing the same thing as if the VDC was on, then yea take it to your dealer. . .

Don't get offended when you yourself posted as if we all understand your jive talk....

Re: newbie question regarding "chirping" tires

thx for your response. as far as me spelling like a 4th grader, its just usually how i type on net...never had anyone complain about it..anyways im guessin it was probably cause of the vdc...im close to my first check up so ill just bring it to the dealership...1 other thing, how many KM/miles b4 u guys considered ur engine "broken in"? i dont want to push it too hard, but i just wanna make sure as this was a mistake i made with my first car.

Re: newbie question regarding "chirping" tires

Its 1200 miles not over 4000 rpm. Just keep that in mind...I don't want you to screw up a nice car thats why
