check out this thread https://g35driver.com/forums/showthr...t=transmission

so far a few more people have gotten their transmission replaced due to the same howling problem. make sure you drop off your car the night before so the dealer can test drive your car in the morning.

If you want to try and reset the window you can sticj the key in the driver side door turn it and hold it, this will reset the windows closng point, might fix the wind noise.

I am still having the noise coming from the drivers side rearview mirror. I went as far as changing the complete drivers side weather strip $150 and nothing. I picked up an 07 G35 mirror assembly off of ebay for $70 and replaced the whole thing, now the noise is worse! I go about 60-65 mph and i hear the wind, almost like if i had my window open. I checked for window seal and it seems fine, i even did the window reset procedure and.... NOTHING. Does anyone have an update on this situation? Maybe something else i can try? I refuse to take my car to the dealer for this as i am out of warranty! Please help out guys. Maybe a stealership somewhere which is good around Miami Lakes area or whatever. I am just desperate already, i am about to replace the whole door!

Mr. Post count #1, are you sure that by holding your key outside at the close will reset your positioning of your window?

It doesnt even pull the windows up for me at least. I doubt you can reset it like that. They wouldnt have a reset procedure where you have to remove the inner panel to do the reset in the first place.

Anyway, i hate the noise its a real pain in the a$$ and if i have ONE complaint as to this car it has been this wind noise!

Anyone else can help?
