My new g35 has some problems

I got my g35 yesterday and their seems to be some problems:

1.) Every time I come slowly to a stop and put slight pressure on the brakes they squeal like crazy. I can't seem to get rid of the problem. I bought it from a Nissan dealer and they told me that they got new brake pads installed, now I don't know if they lied to me.

2.) Every second there seems to be a creak coming from the drivers side while driving and have no idea where it's coming from. I checked the suspension but it's definitely coming from the interior.

3.) From the exterior, when i push down on the car there seems to be a clunk sound from the suspension; is this normal?

4.) I removed the rear seats and there seems to be a weird low electrical sound, is this the fuel line?

5.) And finally, fuel gauge is very inconsistent, for ex. sometimes the needle says it's at the quarter mark and when i start driving the needle rises and says i have more gas, and then other times it goes down by at most 2 marks, is this normal?

Please can anyone help me?
Thanks guys

I also searched for hours on this forum and there seems to be TSB that relates to my problem. The problem is im out of warranty, would the TSB still apply if your out of warranty?

^ the tank issue should be covered even if you don't have warranty i think. It was on TB that infiniti released call your dealer and ask them.

You know the 3/4 thing happened to me once too. I was like wtf. Then I tried not putting the tip of the gas pump so far into tank. Then it filled perfectly.

I guess you haven't read this forum b4 your purchased the car. Did you take it for a test drive b4 your bought it? Since its an 03, i'm guessing all the noises were there b4 you bought it. Unlike my car which, somehow manage to hide all the rattles, clunks and crap when I test drove it.

The clunking noises is not normal. But there is a TSB on it. And I took it in for repair on my 06 coupe. (Loose rear axle bolt)..

haha that's funny cause all these problems never showed up when i took a test drive for 20 min! So are these TSB covered even if you out of warranty?
Thanks guys

Most of the problems you listed are common, with the exception of the clunk in the rear.

The creak sound could very well be your drivers window. These cars are known for window creaks and sounds on rough pavement or highway speed.

The noise you are referring to without your back seat is probably your electric fuel pump......it would make sense you can hear it without the backseat installed.

The noisy brakes should not be happening....are the pads OEM Nissan parts?
I never had a problem with squeal/squeeky brakes and have three sets of pads replaced on my 04.

The gas gauge/fuel tank problems are quite common, and there are TSB's on them....

There is a valve in the neck of the filler, if the pressure is too much, it shuts the valve prematurely, and thus the tank never seems to fill. If you stop pumping, and then restart the pumping you should be able to fill your tank.

Also, there was a recall for possible faulty/cracking vent hoses on our year G's. Make sure they performed the recall, and if they need to replace you fuel sending unit, it would be a good time to get it done.

I don't think my fuel gauge has ever been accurate, but it does reach the full hash mark when I top off the tank.....

Good luck with your gremlins..... and Welcome to the Forum.

I had exact the same probolem with my 04 G35 Coupe 5AT and the dealer told me that it was because i had the aftermarket brake pads which don't fit in the caliper 100% (too thick??).. however, the squeaking sound went away after a few months.. s you might wanna wait for a few weeks and see if the squeakin sound is fading

G35 rattles, nothing much you can do here

You rear endlink might be loose.. go to any local shop, have them lift the car and take a look underneath.. don't bring it to the dealer or they will charge you an arm and a leg...

This i have no idea...

This is again a very common problem in 03/04 models.. i had exact the same problem too.. you need to replace the "sending unit" to fix this problem.. but again.. since your car is out of warranty.. i am not sure how much they will charge you for this.. Infiniti dealer is known to be as*holes (at least here in Canada)....

03 model is known to have the most problems out of all since it is the first year model.. good luck

dude you need to take that car back and tell them to fix any problems that they didn't tell you about. it's obvious that there ae things on there that you didn;t realize when you bought your car. I have an 03 too and I have never had any of those problems.
