How did you get infiniti to pay to replace your seat cushion? Mine is really bad, esp the left drivers side and I want to replace it.

I just used my 3rd party warranty for the first time today to fix the seat track on my 04. I was told that the part alone was $500, and it will just cost me the $100 deductible.

I think I paid about $900 for the warranty when I bought the car, so I've probably paid for half of it so far, with 2 1/2 years remaining on the warranty.

Which 3rd party warranty do you use?

I got mine from Infiniti of Massapequa a few states away from where I live . da_mayor is the rep there who is also on our forum here. I got my warranty right before I hit 30k/ 4th year. So in late 2006 I added 4 yrs, 48k. I am good until late 2010 or 78k.

Depending on deductible, you can get good coverage for 1000-1250 if your miles are not too high

hmmm.... i wonder why there are so many warranty companies out there? They arent in it because they want to fix your car all the time and save you $$. They are in it to make $$. Extended warrantys do not cover any normal wear and tear on the vehicle. I will take my chances with out any warranty after the power train runs out. If it breaks, i will fix it myself.
