Black coupe I modded sorta

This is with 19" 5 Zigens .. all I did was lower it and tint it and tint the corner light.

So ... this is pretty much what it will look like exactly if done.

SWEEEET !!!

Re: Black coupe I modded sorta

Looks cool dude, but I'd be concerned about ground clearance if I made this kind of mod? What do you think it'll be?

It looks far too low IMO. I don't get it. These cars that are lowered this much can't possibly handle well. That's the whole purpose of lowering the car as far as I'm concerned is to improve the handling.

To each is own I guess.

Sal

Re: Black coupe I modded sorta

See, and I thought the purpose of lowering was to scrape the chassis on potholes and driveways. That Tennessee suspension treatment is much more practical.

Personally, I like the wheels but the car looks way too low.

Just my opinion.

"ONE HELL OF A FAST A$$ SLED BRO. "

Actually FWIW - with just those wheels and tires it would be slower than stock, straight line.

Re: Black coupe I modded sorta

YES >>>>> YESSS

Wheels should be big enough to allow the fitting of tires with appropriate grip and profile, but they should be small enough to keep weight, especially rotational inertia, to a minimum.

Larger wheels, even light-weight wheels, will have a larger rotational inertia, and therefore will resist acceleration, but they also allow lower profile tires which can help handling.

You must try to find wheels that fit your needs and optimize your car for the purpose you intend. Use guides to be certain that the offset and overall diameter is maintained, at least for street cars where reliability and gauge accuracy are important.

5ZR Hyper 2Pcs Rims only about 30-35 pounds.... (I THINK)
but by the looks of this thread, don't quote me on that !!

If your really that concerned here is a link with wheel weights....
