IMO the Crawford is the superior product. No issues. More expensize, but worth it.

Re: Crawford or Kinetex??

I just ordered the kinetix for the following reasons:
1. lighter weight. It's probably only 5 lbs lighter but it's at the highest point in the engine bay and in the front of the car. Reducing any weight in that location helps lower the center of gravity and gets the F to R balance closer to the ideal 50/50. I've read accounts of racing teams drilling holes into any suspension piece that wouldn't compromise safety to save a couple pounds here and there.
2. It's less expensive. I paid $369 + $11 for shipping. You get to keep your stock plenum (Crawford charges you $200 more for that). You don't have to pay for return shipping of your stock plenum.
3. The dyno graphs I've seen (on my350z.com) show about the same gains between the Crawford and Kinetix at peak and redline but the Kinetix shows more over the entire rpm range.
4. I only plan on keeping my car for a few years. I can't see the future but I'm sure that there will be more vendors offering plenums and they might even be better than this duo. However, I'm sure that someone might give me anywhere from $50-$150 easily for this plenum when I go to sell the car. Again, you can't do this with the Crawford unless you pay to keep the stock plenum.

If the crawford was about the same price and you could keep the stock plenum, the choice would be much, much tougher. But with the above said, I have to respectfully disagree with Lou.

Re: Crawford or Kinetex??

I would have order the crawford but it is more expensive and for the extra $200, I put it towards the Kinetix Hi-Flow Cat...

Power wise, they are about the same... Kinetix is my choice

Re: Crawford or Kinetex??

I too concur with al503..for all the same reasons.. If I decide to sell in a year or so.. I can put the original plenum back on if I sell to someone who wants original stuff on the engine.. I love the crawford and I don't believe any little performance difference matters one bit..it all boils down to $$ for me and keeping my oringinal part....

Re: Crawford or Kinetex??

Probably not, but if they do, they should make one that will fit the stock G engine cover; they'd have more business certainly.
