Not to be a hater, but I really dont like my 04 coupe that much either. I love the looks but after driving it for a while It just fells cheap. Really for a luxury sports car it does neither well in stock form. Im really not impressed with the engine performance and the road noise is insane. My tires are almost new.

i had to chime in on this,i love my 03,it has been super reliable and yes it is not perfect,if you want mercedes quality buy a s550,but face facts a g35 is a fancy nissan, period. if you think spending 25k on a car that has this many features and the glorious vq35 is a waste of money and you could get better ,please don't .i have noticed a lot of people bashing the g lately and i don't know why.looks really sexy, goes great, gets decent highway mileage(yeah city sucks but whatever its only money)and is really easy to mod to you liking.i drove my car today after2 months of snow and even with the winter tires on it was a blast,i almost forgot how great of a car it is .i cant wait until spring when i can put all of the parts i have gathered over winter on the car and i still think maybe the turbonetics kit for me soon too.and yeah caribbean blue with black rocks.
just my 2 cents(actually 2 cents canadian ,par baby!)

The irony of it all is that I just bought a white '05 from a dealer, you shoulda flew out to Minneapolis!
Actually, there is another one in Chicago if you are interested. At a good price too.

Then again, San Diego is about a 30 hour drive from there.
**edit** just noticed you said you *WERE* looking for an '05. Nevermind

Umm here is a valid point that I have yet to see anyone make. Like everyone has said finding an 05+ for sale is a whole lot harder than 03-04. My point is resale value later on down the line. I just sold my 98 z28 camaro with all kinds of toys on it (20K worth). I had a VERY hard time getting rid of it because many people desire 99-02 because of the minor differences of the first year production. Since the g37 has come out now and the g35 has had its full run, you will begin to see that the newer ones will be the desireable ones therefore making 03-04 models less valuable. So, from an investment point of view go newer.
