wow.. worst luck of my life

i was driving down a hill.. behind a truck... the truck driver kicks up a huge rock and i tried to dodge it.. i swerved as fast as i could and i dodged the rock but i bottomed out on the bottom of the hill... i drove up another 100 feet.. my car shuts off.. this is the day after i installed my supercharger.. so im thinkign sht... whats going on.. i try to start my car.. my engine turns over but doesnt start.. so i tried it again.. then this time it sounded a lil worse.. then i realize all my engine oil is on the cement.. so when i bottomed out.. it must have poped something for all the engine oil to leak out... im getting my car towed tomorrow morning.. my question is.. is there a chance that my engine is really Fcked.... cuz i tried to start my car when theres no oil in the engine?? how much should i expect to pay to get this fixed??

starting car w/o motor oil = relatively ok.

Bottoming out hard enough to crack **** = bad

That sucks especially right after the supercharger install. Did you pop something or put a hole in the oil pan? I'm sure the experts will chime in but the concern would be scoring or the cylinder walls if the engine ran at speed too long without oil.

your motor is most likely ok, you drove 100ft, all that oil didn't just fly out of your car in a split second. You didn't look under your car to see what happened???

You most likely banged up the front cross-member, causing it to whack your oil pan, most likely cracking it and dispensing oil all over. Wait till you can get it on a lift...and check the damage . Good luck homie.

Yikes, that really sucks. I may be wrong, but I don't think just losing oil would cause the engine to just stop of its own accord within 100 feet. Sounds like something else may have been jarred loose. Good luck, man.

I would say that sucks. But looking at your sig, it looked like you had a pretty sweet setup. Hope it doesn't cost you to much.
