What is the actual 0-60 on 2006 6mt Coupe?
I keep finding conflicting specs. I have seen anything from 5.7-6.1 seconds. Does anyone have actual proof of what it does factory? Also do the factory floor mats come with the infiniti logo on them? I bought my car used and they are pretty plain and cheap so im thinking they were replaced.
I hate 0-60. Because one 0-60 for one person will not be the same 0-60 for someone else. Also, the G35 are horrible from the dig. Also I think 0-60 is just another way to brag...

0-100 MPH bone stock is more like 14-15 seconds because that's close to the trap speed that people hit in a quarter mile in our cars.... unless you meant 100 KPH instead of MPH(62 MPH).
the best youll ever see in a magazine like car and driver is almost most unattainable for most of us. There driven by pros, plus any 0-60 by the manufacturer is almost always BS. Ive read accounts of auto makers disconnceting the AC and all cooling devices, running no gas and basically taking out all real world conditions. have someone time you in the passenger seat

Best magazine 0-60 time for the G35 Coupe is 5.5.
But why would you care about 0-60? It's such a horrible measure of a car's "acceleration/performance". Not unless you're magazine racing
I have never, ever heard anyone at a drag strip talk about 0-60's. The only 60's I care about are my 60 footers
If you really want to look at stats that way, pay attention to a cars 1/4 mile E.T and trap speed. And even so, it can still vary from place to place as conditions vary.

0-60 has value for practical things such as highway acceleration. I think if anything most drivers will do their spirited driving in that range of 0-60 even while on an SCCA course or driving in twisty curvy roads.
0-60 still has a lot of value to car enthusiasts in my opinion.

I personally have almost no situations on the street where I ever need to go from a standstill to 60 MPH as fast as possible(unless you're a streetracer).... and most highway merging situations are more like 20/30 MPH to 65 MPH spurts... so it's more of a rolling start situation than 0-60 and negates the cars performance(or lack of) from a dig.
Think of all the times where you spin your tires hard while accelerating from a stop in normal everyday driving situations... those are the only times where your 0-60 probably matters. For me, that almost never happens... and I'd rather have a car that is better at rolling starts than from a dig if I didn't have the ability to have both in the same car.
