hey relax..put yourself in my shoes its been almost a month that i have no grill. its embarressing already..i got a brand new car with no grill!

That's pretty sh*tty dude. Who took a crap in your cheerios? Maybe you should try driving around without your grill for a month.

 

There is no reason for him to vent about Ducatiguy on this board. I have met Ducatiguy - he happens to be one of the most stand up guys on this board. he does the grills in the little spare time that he has as favors to other G owners. Perhaps the dude should just call him and stop disparaging him

I'm sure Ducatiguy is in fact a stand up dude. I think maevrok is just frustrated and IMO, understandably so.

I also disagree that maevrok is disparaging DG. He's not calling DG a cheat or a thief. Most of his posts are in reply to other board member's inquiries and they consist of "it's april xx and still no grill."

If it's possible for maevrok to call DG, it should also be possible for DG to call maevrok.

 

I call him 5 times a day. Not to mention the weekly E-Mails...

 

He'll be back soon. I'd stake my rep on it.

According to his GFs email, he was going to be back on 3rd of this month. Have you emailed her back and ask for explanation?

Anyway, regardless of what is causing the delay, I feel sorry for you driving around in a new car without the front grill.

First you tell him to call him and then you tell him he is calling too much.

Maevrok, it seems as though DG will only contact you if you call him between 1 and 4 times a day. 5 times a day is too much so he's ignoring you, according to Blitzjb.

You might try 4 calls tomorrow, 3 calls the next day, etc., LOL.

I'm sure DG is not ignoring maevrok. There will be a logical explanation for all of this. However, In defending DG, I think you are doing him more of a disservice with some of your posts in this thread.

BTW maevrok, I get my data systems front grill in a couple/three weeks. If you haven't gotten yours back by then, I'll give you mine.

Yea Blitzjb, I know ducatiguy is your friend and all but i think you're going overboard with maevrok. I know it sucks when someone you know is being put in that situation but you should just step back in this case. I'm not too familiar with the transaction but if ducatyguy did this grill for maevrok for free, then yes, he should not be complaining. But if he charged him for the work (which from what I read seems to be the case) then he has all the reason in the world to be upset at this time. It doesn't matter if he's too busy or if he does this to help other members of the forum out of the goodness of his heart, as soon as you take a cash reward for your work, you should stand up to that. I know that if I paid for something a month ago, and it still would not be back by now, I would be upset and looking for some answers just like maevrok is doing right now.
