Dam Colin you really threw yourself out there on this one. I haven't seen any strange behavior from him in the past but this is getting a little out of control. How much time does it take to write a 2 or 3 sentence reply to an e-mail with an expected completion date and a small explanation? I have friends in Afghanistan that write me so unless he's in jail or rehab there isn't much excuse for the lack of communication.

Strange as the situation might be, I know there'll be a logical explanation for what's happened.
I understand Maevrok's worry right now, but he's just going to have to wait for contact from DG. (or contact his girl again)
I can only relate what I've seen here and my experiences, but yes I agree it is a little much for DG not to have contacted him by now.
I'm confident it will be resolved soon. Unfortunately Maevrok is without a grill until then.

IF you still have not resolved the situation with your front grill than I really feel sorry for you for having to drive a new car without the front grill. I really hope that DucatiGuy will have a good explanation for not getting back to you in a timely matter.

i thot DG's gf emailed maevrok saying she'll ship it overnite which was like almost 2 weeks ago, and still no grill?

not only that, but once maevrok receives it, he still needs to paint it from what i understood.

sucks to not have a grill. i'd just find another grill from someone on this forum.

 

Hmm...when I started posting here, ducatiguy was a very active member and I had talked to him about his grill and all. He seemed very knowledgeable from what I've read, but what I can't seem to figure out......what in gods name does he do that he would be gond THIS long? I've been skimming over this post for a few weeks now, and I thought it was all resolved, left the latest posts alone because I figured they just said my grills here DG's gf's email was right, end of story....but seriously.....what does he do that hes gone for this huge of a span of time?

well its easter still no reply from the emails ive sent or phone calls. i keep gettin voicemail. I cant believe this I need a grill ive lost all inspiration to even mod my car because of that.

 

Have you tried going to a dealer and getting a new one? Or perhaps someone who swapped their grill out. I'm kind of disappointed in Ducatiguy.

the grille is an easy re-sell; id get one asap and then focus on the other grille...... they dont last on ebay very long it seems
