05+ 5AT's are not revups, but have higher torque than the revup 6MT despite lower HP if I'm not mistaken (not unlike the '03-'04 6MT vs. '05+).

Actually, I'm pretty sure the HP/TQ numbers for the '05-'06 5AT are the same as the '03-'04 6MT.

Price is a priority. I'm leaning toward an 05 because of the lower prices, same interior as 06 and 07s and since it's auto, there is less of a chance for oil burning.

as all of us said, if its 6MT then 04 is ur best bet. If its 5AT, newer, better.

The interior of the pre-'05 would make me avoid them. The headlights on the '06 and sport rims of the '05+ make a big difference, too.

07 g35 5AT is the best, cuz thats wut i got! and its also the newest version of the g35 5at so it has the least bugs (if any) because they fixed all the bugs by then
