If I take my car somewhere to tint windows does that do anything to my warranty? I mean the dealer is not gonna freak and say my doors are not covered anymore?

I don't think so. Why would the dealer care if you tinit your windows.

You know if door pannels are moved or something. I guess I should call the dealership

I don't see why it'd be a problem. So many people have gotten their windows tinted and I have never seen a mention of any problems. Cops, that's a different story but you should be OK with dealers.

 

only if your tint installer burns out your motor for getting it wet, or breaks a panel, or uses such a thick film it causes your motor to go out early

 

Your diversity antenna will be affected by the tint, and the manufacturer is not responsible for what tint does to your radio reception.

This also goes for the rear window defogger.


Basically, use a non-metalic tint, and make sure they dont scratch the defogger threads.
