Messed with Manumatic Direction now stuck in P.
What's up everyone? I am new to te forum. Well not too new I have been doing ALOT of reading the past couple weeks. Recently bought a 2006 IP G35C 5AT . I just ran into the first problem I can not find a straight answer for by searching.
I opened up my console and swapped the male connectors in the harness for the tiptronic shifting directions. Now when I push down it shifts up and vice versa. Problem is once I got it all back together I start my car and my ABS, SLIP, and VDC lights are all on. Not only that but I can only get out of park by pushing the shift lock. I think this is the first time I have used the parking brake in my car as it is an auto and I live in FL so maybe that has something to do with the problem. I checked all the fuses I could find near the battery and under the steering column and they all looked fine. Also triple checked all the wires I touched or went near and they are all intact and good. I also did the gas pedal frenzy ecu reset and it didn't help either.
Please anyone have any info that could help me out. I could just take it to the dealer but the closest one is in Jacksonville (hour and a half drive from me). I am thinking maybe I missed a fuse or something? I have no idea. Unless it is actually my brakes or something and just a big coisidense.
Thanks for any help you can offer.

Yes I did try going back to normal. I figured out what it was. It ended up just being a blown fuse under the steering wheel. Replaced the fuse and now everything is back to normal except for being able to switch gears with a more natural feeling! I am use to driving an M3 with SMG so I am so used to switching up by pulling back that I couldn't even use the tiptronic in my G because I would just hit the rev limiter everytime trying to up shift by pulling back haha. Thanks for the replys though guys. If anyone else trys to do this make sure you keep the car OFF the whole time you are doing it. NO MUSIC haha that is why I had my car on and blew a fuse.
