There's so many types of 3m tape
Which one should I get to put the emblems back on my car.

be sure to pay attention to how thick it is... I have the red back stuff (it's too thick IMO) and a thinner kind that has white backing... the thin looks better for letters and emblem... the red thicker stuff would be better for splash guards...

yes definitely the gray with the red backing/peel
...they come in different widths but all of them are made for things like splash guard, side moldings, those window rain guards, etc. I've seen them at Pep Boys for at least 10 bucks a roll, not cheap.
i think the white ones are for lighter objects which doesn't require a super bond.

And as for the emblem tape, they have some at Carquest. So if you have one of those local, then its quicker than ordering online.
