Saturday on the NJ Turnpike I came across an M3 (the last body style - not the new M3)... we went at a for a few miles going back in forth but we then had a stretch where there was no traffic when he was in front of me and punched it.. I thought he would burn me but I closed on him fast... I reduced maybe a three car lead to about a one car lead... Anyway, we went at again a few minutes later after we got through another batch of traffic - this time with me in the front and I started pulling away from him - I was shocked... I was losing him until I looked down and realized how fast I was going so I slowed down - he pulled up next to me and rolled down his window and gave me a thumbs up... I have an auto with Ztube and popcharger... I had the VDC off also and was in manumatic mode... Imagine what would've happened if I had a stick..

nice job, im stick and i've been wanting to come across the old body style m3's, i come across the new ones all the time, but im not ready for those untill i start some heavy engine modding. How do you liike the z-tube and pop charger combo? im thinking about getting that and the stillen race pipes.

I love the Ztube and PopCharger... The sound alone makes it worth the money... I usually don't go at like that with other cars but I couldn't resist this time... There were three cops ahead after we stopped but my radar detector picked them up and the M3 had a radar detector too.. There was a GTI pulled over and a mini-van.. the other cop was waiting for another victim... It could've easily been one of us -- so I won't be doing that again anytime soon...

 

I smoked an older M3 on the highway. I punched it around 65 or so. He dropped back pretty far after I beat him.

I raced a newer body M3 and suprisingly hung with him nicely. He should have smoked me.
