I dont know if I posted up when I was n/a, but I could get close to 360-400 a tank.

now that I am F/I, I have gotten as little as 260 a tank driving around town or flogging it hard.

now on 4 seperate trips out of town I have seen 420-450 on a tank.

I was able to get 480 miles on a tank once driving 95% interstate. Average speed was around 80 with little wind and next to no hills. I have an automatic though. Typically I get around 280-320 per tank. I drive highway about 30% of the time.

After I installed my new motor I didn't put my A/C belt on and drove it for months after it was installed. I got up to 420.... After installing the belt back on, I stay right about 385 per tank. I can hit 400 but would have to shift around 3k rpms. I presently shift around 4k rpms.

I get 425-440 every week on a tank.

Every week I drive 2-140 mile legs between 55-80 mph (half interstate, half divided 4 lane) trying to use the cruise as much as possible and the rest is rural/mtn in-town driving ranging from 2-10 miles per trip. I kick the car in the butt a half dozen times per week to keep the injectors cleaned out and I tend to make jack rabbit starts from traffic lights and stop signs.

wow, am i the only one who thinks shifting at 4k is way too high for daily driving? i shift at 3k most of the time, but when i'm in granny mode i shift at 2.5k!

75% highway 25% city
Mods: only a z-tube and pop charger
19.5MPG
the best i have gotten on a full tank is 346

Not for this car. This motor is more of high revving motor. I used to drive like that (shift @ 2.5k) when I had V8's, but in this car 3.5k is pretty normal.

My last Audi cruised down the highway at 3900 rpm's doing 80 mph. Took some getting used to.

I used to think that when I first got the car because I was used to my Mustang V8. But this motor really doesn't even start to open up until 4k rpms. I had it up to 7.5k rpms yesterday and it felt REAL nice.

Man I try and coast like the Pacific and shift early at 2500 rpm like premie and I still only get 19mpg and 300 miles to the tank on a good day! I'm so broke from buying gas every week I take the ugly bart train instead of driving my sexy *** coupe and make excuses to my other girlfriend about why I can't pick her up or take her anywhere! This is with no mods either, though I'm hoping a CAI and plenum spacer might improve mileage? Call me crazy?
