The G passed the RX8 on the track, twisties included, in that Japanese race vid. The G was closing at about one second per lap on the S2000 as well, but the race ended before it could pass.

The RX8 is a great car, it's just underpowered, more on par with the RSX.

Those japanese car videos are for good laughers. Bunch of baffoons. They are great to watch but I don't trust them for technical specifications. They also show the G35 and 350z beat the bmw M3. In their data m3 had the fastest lap time but overall G35 took first place.

It all depends down to the track too. If the track had long stretchs of straight away the G will definately beat the RX8. I have driven both the G definately isn't as nimble as the rx8.

 

Yea, I love the way the RX8 handles. The G handles like a dream, but the 8 is even better.

Those vids are pretty funny to watch, especially when subtitled. They rib each other and stuff all the time. My favorite one is the one with the Boxter where he's so far behind he can't even see any of the other cars anymore, and he starts talking about how nice the interior is and stuff, LOL.

Funny stuff aside, they are quite excellent drivers.

yeah, i love those bmi videos.. i think those guys are great drivers. as for the boxster, i don't believe it was a boxster S?

 

Havent raced a RX-8 yet , and the e320 dont even waste ur time or gas with that, you could beat it starting in 2nd gear, an e500 is more of a race for us, if your stick that is. e430 if ur auto.
