tire pressure sensor light?

Hey guys,
I have an 06 coupe and aftermarket rims/tires that dont have any tire pressure sensor..

The light on my dashboard that shows low tire pressure is very annoying.. Anyway to remove it?

From what I know, the only way you can disable the TPMS is by it's fuse. First of all, nobody seems to know where it is, and second, I'm sure there are other things besides TPMS that specific fuse is responsible for. Either you put a piece of tape in front of the light so you don't see it anymore or you buy a set of sensors and put it in the aftermarket rims.

I believe it's illegal to disable the the light even if you can figure it out. Why don't you just move the sensors from your stock wheels to your aftermarket ones?

I just threw rims on my car for the first time and my light came on too. Does that mean all aftermarket rim owners just leave theirs on/already have tire pressure sensors on their rims? How much does it cost to add those? I'm stupid

Actually, tape is NOT an option, unless you are using tape over the light on the dash..... .....however there are a couple of true options.....

1) First Option uses a bracket and a regular valve stem to clamp the TPMS to the rim with a conventional valve stem

2) Second Option uses a strap around the inner circumference of the rim to hold the TPMS.

I've used both....the strap method is the easiest to get a tire shop to use because the bracket isn't readily available.
