Are you guys sure that he caught me with radar? Is the radar always on in a CHP car? My friend was right behind me and he said the CHP was surrounded by cars on all sides, so I dont know.

well, buddy. Just did my traffic school for speeding down at Pendleton..As I understand it, very bad things happen when they get you for a !00 mph ticket in California....like big bucks, insurance points, and such. I would work very hard to get this thing knocked down....them peoples are serious about punishing you and raising revenue for strapped California. NO ONE represents YOU

Hire a lawyer, but don't spend more than like $500 on one. You can find traffic lawyers who handle these cases all the time, and charge anywhere from $200 - $500 to take care of the whole ticket (regardless of what happens).
The pros of hiring a lawyer are the lawyers know the judges, it is way more professional than trying to fight the ticket by yourself (in which case you have very little chance if you were actually going as fast as your ticket states), and sometimes you don't even have to show up in court (your lawyer represents you).
Hire a traffic lawyer and let him/her do his/her thing.
