Filled up the other day when light came on @ 377 miles. I drive 90% highway averaging about 70-75 mph. I do have my fair share of fun too though. My average is exactly 22.5 miles/gallon for my last two fill-ups using Shell 93 octane.

Last tank 225 on a 16 gal fill. I am switching the Chevron station for another one. Anything other than HESS, like i said before in other threads WATCH YOUR GAS STATIONS! It might sound silly but some pumps/stations yield higher mileage. Could be gas quality or just the station itself ( new or old, maintained or not, etc ) . Do yourself a favor and when you fill up get the gallons you filled up with and reset your trip counter. Do this for 4-5 different gas stations and you will see what i am talking about...

I filled up last night with 412.6 miles on the trip & it took 16.582 gallons...
You do the math... ( about 50% freeway / 50% city street )

i havr gotten 20.2 55/45 C/H call it bs i dont care just gotta be patient... my current tank is getting 18.7..
I just accel calmer, and dont let the rpm go too high all the time...
I keep it below 70 (i have a court date for my current ticket, and if i get another between now and then, i will be in trouble.)
i guess that is why i am getting good mpg's
Its hard to do... but can be done.. its about coasting, and avoiding braking, if i see a red, i let go of the gas, even if i am very far, why brake into a red... once it turns green i usally have timed to me being right there to accel out...
Just that red light technique has helped me go up 1.5 mpg... i am not a hypermiler by ANY means... but that is really not too extreme what i do..

I get about 15-16 mpg in all city driving (9 mile back road/stop light commute each way.) About 240-250 a tank with a 15-15.5 gallon fillup before the light comes on. Driving style has made very little difference, but I should point out that I heel-toe rev match my downshifts, so I wonder if my throttle blips have a considerable effect on mileage.
Still, I have never had any V6 I've owned get much more than 16-17mpg in city driving.

Now I started watching my driving and last two tanks were 380 (170 were freeway miles. Prolly would have gotten more out of that tank if I would not have raced 350z) and 330 (mostly city)
