something weird with my window
something weird with my window
I am wondering if you guys have had or know of this issue...its only been a week since I got the car and there's a weird issue I noticed with my (driver side) window. When I open the door on the coupe, the window is supposed to roll down half an inch, today I noticed the window isn't rolling down, maybe only moving a couple of centimeters down. I can push it down the rest of the way, but I dont know why it isnt pulling it down anymore...the passenger side works fine, windows roll down half inch when you open it. Driver side...barely moves.
What issue is this? What caused it? How do I fix it?
thanks

Its common for the drivers side to move only an 1/8", compared to the drivers side which does go down further. You can always push the window down farther, so thats normal too. Once the window goes up, and then goes part way back down.......be prepared to buy and new window motor.
These cars have very delicate motors......A common problem for the Coupes. If your still under the warranty, I suggest you take it to the dealer and let them inspect it, or replace it if needed.
Good Luck

yeah the windows are really finicky...i opened my drivers door this past winter and because it was so cold, the window stuck to the rubber seal just enough to pull itself out of alignment when I opened the door..
