It's NOS.

DOMO

Vehicle Dynamic Control
It's your traction control system. Pushing the button turns it on and off.

You need to completely disable that feature before it kills you... If you try to avoid and accident the VDC will now allow you to do so and will steer you back into the accident.

No quick left or right turns because it will cut power to your wheel and feel like your car stalled all while cars are coming right at you.

I despise the VDC in my car.

I've lost track of the number of times that I've pulled out into traffic with too much right foot on the gas and had the VDC kick in and cut power to the motor....instead of jetting out of the way of on-coming cars, I sit there wide-eyed and helpless as the traffic thunders towards me.

Pressing the VDC to turn it off helps to eliminate this type of situation.

In an auto if you know how to drive your car it shouldn't be a problem, I leave it on all the time and never run into that issue.

Exactly my point... Know how much gas to give and when, I pull out in traffic all the time in an automatic with VDC on, never had a problem... That statement was directed to the op, he inquired about an 07 auto and vdc.
