Whats this buton do?????

Opened my glove compartment and found a on off button on the left side....

i fliped the switch and then back again but it didnt do anything!!!

what the heck is it for?????

it has a white figure of a car on it with the trunk open but it didnt do nothing to the trunk!

valet button, so they cant open you trunk. flip the switch and lock the glove box

i never got my manual since i bought it used. I would of read it if i had it.

Here's a good question: When the switch is set to "off", does the red vinyl strap between the rear seats not work either?

Isn't the red strap to pull the rear seats down? In any case, that's why it's called manual override.

Yeah but it would defeat the purpose of having an "off" switch in the first place to bar access to the trunk.

Unless Infiniti is just assuming no Valet would know about the strap.

That's strange mine makes it so my navigation can be programmed while I'm driving. Must've been an option on the 03s.
